Good Governance and Leadership

Leadership is at the heart of every success. This module explores the connection between leadership, peacebuilding and good governance. The course aims to enable participants to acquire skills and act as agents of change. The module will empower participants with knowledge about effective decision-making and how to resolve ethical dilemmas and problems in their families, communities and work contexts by exploring ethical decision making. Any person who wants to understand how to make ethical decisions when faced with either personal or work-related situations which pose ethical problems and dilemmas would benefit from attending this course. Issues related to leadership including components of effective leader performance, decision-making, power, communication, gender and elections will be discussed. The question of what makes a leader successful will be analyzed. Leadership values from biblical foundations will also be examined. Participants will have the opportunity to apply their learnings to real life situations.
