This course will equip students with the skills necessary to design, implement, and manage peacebuilding projects. Students will explore the principles and practices of project management, including needs assessment, project design, budgeting, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. Special attention will be given to the unique challenges of peacebuilding projects, including navigating complex political and cultural environments, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the sustainability of project outcomes. Through case studies and practical exercises, students will develop the skills necessary to lead successful peacebuilding projects that contribute to sustainable peace and positive social change.
