Following the Annual Training, successful participants are invited to a Graduation Ceremony whereby they receive a Certificate of Completion recognizing their achievement and become a member of the pan-African API Alumni network.
Within one year, alumni are contacted in formal and informal interviews to share their experience of API and give testimonials of how they have built peace in their community. This encourages alumni to continue to grow and practice peacebuilding long after they leave API. Furthermore, gathering this information is important to the continuous improvement of API's Annual Training.
